I first met Lisa over the phone internationally because we were living out of the country then.  We purchased two residences, one being a 4600 square foot home in Pelican Marsh and the other a three bedroom/three bathroom coach house in Pelican Marsh.  So we needed an interior designer to design both homes, particularly the larger primary house. 

My husband looked her up on the internet since we lived far away then, and were drawn to her primarily because of the "Budget" in Budget Beautiful.  We knew that we would be spending a large sum of money in furniture and accessories, but we didn't want to be "ripped off" by designers who overcharge.  Lisa Swan has never failed to find us the look we want at the best possible price!!!  She has never failed to give me, the client, any designer discounts.  Her hourly rate is very competitive as well.  She also has sufficient education, paperwork, licenses to show her designer status.  She doesn't keep a showroom which means added overhead costs for the client.  If I did not like something she picked out, then she would easily move on until I liked something.  She is also very helpful with personal references.  If something ever went wrong with one of her subcontracts, or referrals, she called them up immediately and demanded proper attention.  She got my furniture deliveries much faster than I ever would have myself because of her relationship with certain companies.  I have had to wait incredibly outrageous amounts of time for furniture when I've done this myself.  This has been very fast. 

She is a very creative accessorizer as well, and created many of my most unique and beautiful window treatments.  My house is done in a tropical Tommy Bahaman style and she provided many choices for how my house could look.  I did the choosing.  We also had a flood happen in the house prior to our moving in, and she handled the insurance and clean up expertly. 

Lisa is also a coordinator, and she coordinated our pool and spa repairs prior, toilet reguttals,  unpack service for our hundreds of packed boxes, garage set up, and anything that needed to be done before we moved in.  She is very good at what she does, and she's very organized, cost effective, and, most importantly, very nice and pleasant to work with.  This has been a 6 month long relationship and Lisa has done a fantastic, professional job.  She is good at reorganizing rooms for you too.  And she will help you any way you need.  For example, I needed all my many light switches labeled properly with the proper names, and not many people know these fixture names.  Lisa had no problem doing this for me because I needed it done and she is very considerate and helpful. 

Lisa has a team of people she calls upon, and this has been extremely helpful to me, as well.  Lisa works very hard, and she is fast. 

I am pleased to recommend Lisa Swan and the Budget Beautiful team to anyone who wants to save money and get what they want.  Once again, I spent a large sum of money overall, but I knew I was getting it at the best possible price.  And I am very pleased with the look and design of both residences.  --Mrs. Joyce Bartholomew- Naples

Once again, you have done a Fabulous job for us!  The Inn looks beautiful. Our guests are still asking us who did our Holiday Decor and even people who are not staying with us come in off of the street to see the decorations. The tree is gorgeous!  If you will bring in some of your business cards, I will pass them out. Also, the Pub looks great too, and Mr. McCabe is thrilled with his home as always.  He loves Christmas!  Also, as I told Lisa, the Fifth Avenue Committee has asked us for your contact information. Hats off "Budget Beautiful".  I am the proud recipient of your "2003 Father's Day Garage Organization Special".  All I can say is that when I came home that night I could not believe my eyes!  First thought, "Where is all my stuff?"  Second though, "I wish my garage could really look like this but I have too many things and where are they?"  My wife was in deep doo-doo!  After several minutes of vocal venting, I was made aware by my wife, that all my things were in fact still here, just organized and stored properly.  There was a small amount of purging, however, it was stuff that I have meant to rid the garage of for many years and thought it would take too much time.  Items such as old paint, empty boxes and a "dog house", we don't have a dog!

Again, Hats off Budget Beautiful!  Now I can actually park two cars in my garage and get out of the car without bumping into a dog house.  All of my tools including nails, bolts, screws, staple gun, battery charger, etc. are stored in practical, functional spaces. With both cars pulled out I could actually build furniture in my garage if I chose to.  There is nothing on the floor. Everything is in its place.  I spend a lot of time out there now and still am amazed that I did not think of doing this sooner.

Philip and I just wanted to take a moment to send you and your Company a proper "Thank You".  As you recall, Lisa, we were both very nervous about hiring a Decorator.  You assured us that all would be fine but we were still anxious.  Our project has been completed now for six months and all we can say is that we wish we had relaxed and trusted you more.  

It was a very pleasant week, all work was done at the times you stated.  Even the sub-contractors were punctual, polite and expert in every way. Everything turned out beautifully and true to form, you completed our project ahead of schedule and you would have been under budget had I not insisted on adding the lovely wall mural.  By the way, everyone who has seen the "New Living Room" has been blown away.  They cannot believe that we had the room done so quickly and that it was actually affordable.  We will be contacting you in September to "transform" the upstairs bedroom into a proper "Guest Suite".  This will involve combining two rooms, however, this time we are not nervous.  Quite the opposite, we can't wait to see the end result.

John and I returned from Spain to view for the first time, our newly decorated master suite.  We freaked out.  Not only is this the prettiest room I have ever seen in my life, you took the time to organize everything in the room, down to John's coin collection.  We were not expecting this much.  We have had two cocktail parties in four weeks just so that we could show off our new bedroom.  We have told our friends that it cost much more than it did.  Thank you also for the "Freebies" in the bathroom.  You are right, it was needed and it does tie the two rooms together.  You're the best.  Let's do something fun with the living room next month.
